LELA offers courses to adult learners aged 18 and above. Courses cover every aspect of English, the world's most important language, ensuring that students learn to communicate effectively in every possible situation. As well as general purpose (starter to upper-intermediate) and Business English courses, the school specialises in exam courses leading to the Cambridge certificates (First Certificate in English, Certificate in Advanced English, Certificate of Proficiency in English and Business English Certificates). Class size varies with a maximum of 18 students and an average of 15. For those students who particularly wish to improve their conversational skills, special classes can be arranged. Small intensive classes of up to eight students are organised for more advanced students or those with specific requirements. LELA can also set up courses for other languages. The Teachers

LELA teachers are all qualified and experienced. They are keen to ensure that students not only learn as much as possible, but also enjoy their time at LELA to the maximum. Many of them have worked in and travelled to countries around the world and have a strong awareness of different cultures; this ensures that classes are conducted in a culturally sensitive and interesting way.
